November 1st sketch challenge @ Sketch N Scrap

Happy Sunday!  Yesterday Sketch N Scrap launched their November 1st challenge featuring a three photo sketch created by yours truly!!  I had fun creating this sketch as well as a layout using the sketch!
Here is the sketch:

Here is my layout I created with the sketch:
Supplies Used:  Patterned Paper: Carta Bella Oh Happy Day; stickers: Carta Bella Oh Happy Day; enamel dots: Echo Park Paper; cardstock: Bazzill

I was able to use up some left over stickers as well as some scraps from my May 2020 Flavors of the Month kit. This kit is almost used up and I have moved the remaining scraps and stickers into my scraps bin, it feels good to make more room in my stash!  These pictures of my friend and her granddaughter were a perfect fit for this collection!  I hope you will find time to join us at Sketch N Scrap this month!!  We can't wait to see what you create!!

Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure 2025 ~ November edition!

Happy November! It feels like Fall finally here in Texas with cool crisp temperatures that really cool down at night!  I am so glad the Fall weather has finally arrived!  Since it's a new month it's time to launch another fun edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash Adventure! I love the beginning of each month because it's a chance to start anew!! So without further adieu let's kick off the November 2025 edition of Lisa & Lori's Great Stash Bash 2025!!

Here is how our 2025 challenge works:
On the 1st of each month we will post a challenge prompt and the stash kit we have created using that prompt. During the month we will try to use as much of our stash kit as possible on different projects. Then, somewhere along the way we will do a recap post showing what stash we were able to bash!
This will be a just-for-fun challenge so there is no monthly prize - but isn't the real prize using up our stash?  We hope you will join us in our quest to bash some stash in 2025. If you accept the challenge to play along - link up on either my blog or Lori's Blog My Happy Life (or both if you choose) so that we can see who is joining us each month!

Now for our Stash Bash kit recipe for this month:

This month I decided to pick 2 kits as I have two projects I plan to work on this month.
Here is my first larger kit:
I plan to create a recipe album this month for a Christmas gift and this line by Simple Stories is perfect!

Here are the "A" sides of the papers:
All papers are from the Simple Stories What's Cookin' collection.

The "B" sides of the papers:

My embellishments:
All the embellishments are from the Simple Stories What's Cookin' collection.

My second smaller kit:
I plan to use this kit to make a craft project binder for a Christmas gift, so that a special someone can keep track of all their craft projects!

The "A" side of my second kit papers:
Papers are from Carta Bella Craft & Create (green and multi plaid), Carta Bella Here There and Everywhere (floral and pink dot).

The "B" side of my second kit papers:

The scraps for both my kits:
These are from Simple Stories What's Cookin' (red floral, red dot and brown dot), Carta Bella Craft and Create (blue dot) and Echo Park I'd Rather Be Crafting (sewing machines)

The stash bash item for both kits: STAMPS
All the stamps are from CTMH except the clipboard stamp set is from Layle By Mail. I haven't used these particular stamps in awhile and it's time to show them some love again!

Here are the rules for 2025:
Each month we will create a kit with 10 or more papers (dig into your stash for new or old papers it's up to  you!), 5-7 scrap papers (let's keep those scrap piles under control!), 3-4 embellishments (new or old- you decide), and a stash bash item!
This month's stash bash item is: Stamps
1. Follow the challenge prompt to create a kit to work with throughout the month. You may use other items, but try to concentrate on using your kit.
2. Create new, not previously posted projects using your stash kit.
3. If you have a blog - please include the challenge graphic & a link to our challenge in your posts.
4. You may link to social media if you don't have a blog. If you share on Instagram, please make sure to use - #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2025
Since this is a just for fun challenge the rules are not set in stone BUT we have them to help you focus on what really matters using your stash!  We also hope you will help spread the word of our fun challenge so others may join in!!  You know you have at least one friend who needs to use her stash!!

I am super excited to dig into my fun kit this month!! I hope you will join myself and Lori as we endeavor to bash some stash!  Remember if you play along make sure and use the hashtag #lisaandlorisgreatstashbash2025.  I can't wait to see your kit!  If you create a kit link up below to share with us all!!  Happy creating!!

Happy October!!  It's a new month, so that means a new sketch to play along with! Today we launched the first card sketch of the new month at Sketch N Scrap!!

Here is the card I created using the sketch:
Supplies Used: Papers: Carta Bella Craft & Create; stickers: Carta Bella Craft & Create; dies: Stampin Up, Stamp & Ink: Stampin' Up (ink- Night of Navy).

I made this card for a special someone who loves to sew!  I love how it turned out and hope she will love it too when I give it to her on her birthday! These papers/stickers were from my DoubleShot Kit from August of 2021 at The ScrapRoom!  I am slowly trying to use up my past kits before purchasing any new ones as my craft room is busting at the seams!!!  I am sure I am not the only one with this issue lol!  Make sure and hop on over to the Sketch N Scrap blog and check out what the other DT members did with the sketch!!
Happy creating!
